Time Off!?

At Oak Leaf Church our time off policy is simple. We aren’t in the business of complicating what could be a sticky and cumbersome issue by spending the time tracking personal, vacation, sick, and whatever other days off people have made up over the years. Instead we crafted a policy that is liberal and straight-forward to reward our employees quickly and give them little room for burnout, feelings of being trapped, and day-dreaming about a week long cruise in Alaska (maybe that’s my dream). We don’t claim to be the experts, but we feel our policy rewards sacrifice, considers church planting time (which is like dog years), and is very fair.
