I watched way too much college football this weekend. I felt like such a lazy bum that I actually went with my wife to Target. I hate Target. Not for any legitimate reason, just that I can’t think of any time when I went into the store and left without spending $50 (mostly because of Carrie 
).
My observations from this weekends viewing…
1. Florida will lose to LSU, Kentucky and probably South Carolina…they are way too young on defense.
2. Kentucky, LSU and West Virginia’s (offense only) are legitimate.
3. Oklahoma still doesn’t do it for me. I can’t get fired up about a team that beats up on pansies.
4. It’s always good to see Notre Dame and Alabama lose.
5. I was supposed to go to Gainesville and watch them play Auburn, but they moved the game to 8 PM. I am not going to church Sunday with zero sleep.

I look at it like this. Until someone else beats the last years number one and two teams in the ratings, they should still be 1 and 2.

I agree. I also believe that they shouldn’t rank anyone until week 4 or 5 anyway.
