Year End Review

Posted: December 31, 2007 in Church Leadership

Oak Leaf has just finished it’s first full year in existence (calendar year) and I thought I would reflect for a moment about some of things that God has done through our church.

1. We have seen nearly 75 people choose to follow Christ.

2. We have seen over 35 people get Baptized (more to follow in February).

3. We have grown from 2 full-time staff and one volunteer part-timer at the beginning of the year to just hiring our 5th full-time person (1 will start January 2) with 6 part-timers (all paid).

4. We have experienced an average growth of 11% per month for the year in both giving and attendance.

5. We successfully moved our church from having 1 service to 2, then 3, then back to 2 services while constantly growing our kid’s ministry and volunteer base (and making everyone think we are all crazy).

6. Our budget has grown from $240,000 to $600,000.

7. We had over 1000 people show up for our first ever Rockin’ Christmas Eve-eve service.

8. We gave away and entire weeks offering to our church so that they could bless back the community.

9. We averaged 75 kids in Limelight

10. We have nearly 200 kids coming per week.
